|Corn meal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sea salt||To Taste|
|Unrefined safflower oil||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cut okra in 1/2 inch thick rounds.
Rinse the okra so it is slightly wet.
Shake the okra pieces in a bag with stone-ground yellow corn meal and a little sea salt.
Fry in unrefined safflower oil over medium heat.
The heat has to be watched carefully in order to fry the okra crisp but not burn the corn meal.
