|Sliced okra||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Long grain rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Fry bacon in saucepan until almost crisp.
Add okra; fry until tender.
Add 1 1/2 cups water, rice, salt and pepper; cover.
Cook over low heat, for about 1 hour and 30 minutes or until rice is dry, stirring occasion- ally.
