Ingredients
  Okra 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), sliced
  Buttermilk 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Cornmeal 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Cooking oil 1
Directions

"Boil okra in a small amount of water until tender; drain well.
Combine okra, buttermilk, flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper and egg.
Drop by tablespoonfuls into heated oil; fry until brown.
