Simple Lady Fingers

Ingredients
  Egg whites 3
  Powdered sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg yolks 2
  All purpose flour 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Beat egg whites with hand or electric beater until stiff, but not dry.
Add powdered sugar gradually, while continuing to beat until mixture stands up in peaks.
Fold in egg yolks, which have been beaten until thick and lemon-colored.
Then fold in flour and salt which have been sifted together.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Using a pastry bag with a plain hole tube, shape dough into strips 1" wide and 4 1/2" long on a cookie sheet covered with plain or parchment paper.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and bake in a moderate oven of 350ºF for 12 min or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly, then remove from paper with a spatula, Cool on a cake rack.
