Chicken Livers And Bacon (Rumaki)

An old favorite.
So fast, so good, so easy it had to be included.
Cut chicken livers in 1-inch squares.
Cut bacon strips in half.
Wrap livers in bacon, securing with a toothpick.
Place in a shallow pan.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350Â° F or until bacon is crisp.
Makes 24 bite-size hors d'oeuvres.
Variations: A.) Pineapple chunks or water chestnuts may be wrapped with the chicken liver and bacon.
B.) Scallops or whole mushrooms may be substituted for the chicken livers.
