Drain pineapple chunks and reserve syrup.
Brown sausages and pour off fat.
Drain sausages on paper towelling and cover with foil to keep warm.
Saute green pepper, celery and onion in a little of the fat drippings.
Add pineapple chunks.
Mix brown sugar, cornstarch, pineapple syrup, vinegar and soya sauce; add to vegetables in fry pan.
Cook until clear.
If mixture is too thick add a little water.
Add sausages and let heat a few minutes.
Serve on a bed of rice.
