Polynesian Meatballs

Ingredients
  Lean ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Medium, diced for 1/2 cup
  Ground ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Canned pineapple chunks 20 Ounce, well drained (1 Can)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Canned condensed tomato soup 2 Can (20 oz)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix together ground beef, half of diced onion, ground ginger, salt, bread crumbs and slightly beaten egg.
Shape into walnut-size meatballs.
Place meatballs in 3-quart glass casserole.
Cover.
Microwave on ROAST (7) for 5 minutes, stirring once during cooking, being careful not to break meatballs.
In large mixing bowl mix together condensed tomato soup, brown sugar, remaining onion and pineapple chunks.
Add to partially cooked meatballs.
Stir well, again being careful not to break up meatballs.
Cover, cook on ROAST (7) for 15 minutes, stirring twice during cooking.
Cook a bit longer if necessary, until done.
