Ingredients
  Chicken livers 12 , halved
  Water chestnut 24 (Thin Slivers)
  Bacon slices 12 , cut in half
  Soy sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Light brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Make a small incision in center of each piece of chicken liver and insert a sliver of water chestnut. Wrap each with a half-strip of bacon; secure with a wooden pick.
2. Mix soy sauce and garlic, add livers, cover and marinate in the refrigerator several hours.
3. Remove livers from marinade, roll lightly in brown sugar and place on broiler pan.
4. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
