Bermuda Beet Salad

Ingredients
  Bermuda onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Tart red apples 2 Medium, thinly sliced
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cider vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Caraway seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tamari sauce/Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Beets 5 , cooked, peeled, and thinly sliced
Directions

Separate the onion slices into rings and place in a 1- to 1 1/2-quart glass or enamel serving dish.
Arrange the apple slices over the onion rings.
Mix together the lemon juice, vinegar, caraway seeds, and tamari in a small bowl or jar.
Pour over the apples and onions.
Toss the beets with the apple and onion mixture.
Marinate in the refrigerator for about 4 hours and toss before serving.
