Katie Holmes Is A ‘Hopeless Cook’ On Thanksgiving
Despite being under the media scanner all the time, even during her recent public divorce with husband Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes seems not to have lost her comic touch. While talking about comedy recently, she admitted that she was a hopeless cook.
Holmes has returned to her Broadway career with Theresa Rebeck's scathing "Dead Accounts," where she stars opposite Norbert Leo Butz. She and Butz were talking recently about the play, which premiered in Ohio last year in January, when Katie made this hilarious confession.
She told the interviewer that she found it 'heartbreaking' to go through the kitchen work. She said, not so sadly, "Like, just me in the kitchen is a comedy", to which Butz replied, "Because you're such a bad cook?" She admitted that she was while describing herself in the kitchen, "because all the pans are out, and I get frustrated, and suddenly it's burning..."
She even confessed that even if she bought her stuff from 'Eataly' or any big store, she would still turn out a 'not good' meal.
While appearing on an episode of Martha Stewart’s “The Martha Stewart Show”, Katie had also said that she usually visited the local flower market before Thanksgiving to make up for her lack of culinary skills with a nice floral arrangement.
