|Old fashioned oatmeal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Cold water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Combine ingredients in the slow cooker at bedtime.
Cook on low 8 to 10 hours or overnight.
Serve hot in the morning with milk and a dash of nutmeg.
Variations: Add 1 cup grated carrots be fore cooking or add 2 or 3 tablespoons brown sugar before cooking.
