|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (quickcooking or oldfashioned)|
|Raisins||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Combine milk, water, and salt in a 2 quart saucepan.
Cover, and bring to a boil.
Add oats and raisins.
Reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes or until oats are tender.
NOTE: Small pieces of dried apricots, peaches, dates, prunes, pears, or other dried fruits may be substituted for the raisins.
