Creamy Rolled Oats

Ingredients
  Rolled oats 1 Cup (16 tbs) (quickcooking or oldfashioned)
  Cold water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine all ingredients in the top of a double boiler or in a medium saucepan.
In a double boiler, cook over boiling water for 20 to 30 minutes.
In a saucepan, bring to a boil, and then reduce heat and simmer gently until oats are tender.
Stir often.
