Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Quick cooking oats 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Semisweet chocolate morsels 12 Ounce
  Chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla, beating well.
Combine flour, soda, baking powder, and salt; add to creamed mixture, beating well.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets; bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks.
