1. In a sharp blade grinding jar add in barley and oats. Grind to make coarse powder, set aside in an airtight container.
2. In a pan add in the water and boil.
3. Stir in the oats mixture and whisk. Simmer on low for 10 minutes.
4. Season with salt, add in apple and milk. Mix well.
5. Serve oats and barley with fresh fruit juice to the kid.
