Ingredients
  Margarine/Shortening 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Honey 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Eggs 3
  Whole wheat pastry flour 2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)
  Raw wheat germ 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1 Teaspoon
  Apple pie spice 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Thick unsweetened applesauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Oatmeal 8 Cup (128 tbs)
  Raisins 4 Cup (64 tbs) (Or More, As Desired)
Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
Cream together margarine and sugar; add honey and eggs, and blend thoroughly.
In a separate bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients except oatmeal and raisins.
Stir into the egg mixture.
When thoroughly mixed, add vanilla, applesauce, oatmeal, and raisins.
Drop dough from a teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until done; remove immediately from tins and allow to cool on wire racks.
