Oatmeal with Dried Cherries

Ingredients
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Steel cut oatmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Irish Variety)
  Dry cherries 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Maple syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Margarine/Butter 4 Teaspoon
Directions

In a 6-quart Crock-Pot or other slow cooker, combine the water, oatmeal, cherries, brown sugar, and salt.
Cover and cook on low for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve topped with the maple syrup and margarine or butter.
