Oatmeal With Dried Cherries
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Steel cut oatmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Irish Variety)|
|Dry cherries||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Maple syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In a 6-quart Crock-Pot or other slow cooker, combine the water, oatmeal, cherries, brown sugar, and salt.
Cover and cook on low for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Serve topped with the maple syrup and margarine or butter.
