Honey Oatmeal Chocolate Drops

Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate 2 Ounce, chopped
  Butter 8 Ounce (1 Cup)
  Honey 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Eggs 2 Large, lightly beaten
  Old fashioned oatmeal 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 2 Teaspoon
  Chopped coconut/Shredded coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Wheat germ 3 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat the oven to 325 degrees.
Lightly butter 2 baking sheets.
Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
Beat the butter until smooth.
Add the honey and mix well.
Stir in the eggs, melted chocolate and oatmeal.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, beating well after each addi-tion.
Stir in the nuts or coconut and the wheat germ.
Drop the batter onto the baking sheets in rounded teaspoonfuls and bake for 20 minutes, until the cookies are firm.
Cool them on wire racks.
Bake the remaining dough in the same way.
