Crunchy Peanut Oatmeal Cookies
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), softened|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Oatmeal||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Quick Total, Dry Variety)|
|All purpose flour/Unbleached flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Peanut butter chips||6 Ounce (1/2 Of 12 Ounce Package, 1 Cup)|
|Chopped salted blanched peanuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Heat oven to 375°.
Mix sugars, shortening, margarine, water, egg and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
