Nutty Honey Oatmeal Cookies
|Sugar||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Quick cooking oats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Oat flour blend||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Heat oven to 375°.
Mix sugar, shortening, eggs, honey, baking soda and salt thoroughly.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar if desired.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
Cool 2 to 3 minutes; remove to wire rack.
