Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  Shortening 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Gold medal flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Rolled oats 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Mashed ripe bananas 1 Cup (16 tbs), mashed (2 To 3 Medium)
  Chopped nuts/Chopped raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Heat oven to 400°
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Place all ingredients in mixing bowl.
Beat until well blended.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough about 1 1/2" apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 min.
