Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Acceptable)|
|Cocoa||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sifted|
|Skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Quick-cooking oatmeal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large mixing bowl, cream sugar and margarine together.
Add cocoa, vanilla and milk.
In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Blend into margarine mixture.
Stir in oatmeal.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes.
