Toasted Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Raw oats 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2.In medium skillet, over medium heat, heat butter until lightly browned.Add oats; stir constantly until golden, about 5 minutes.Remove from heat and cool.
3.Meanwhile, sift flour with cinnamon, salt and soda; set aside.
4.In large bowl, combine sugar, egg and vanilla.Beat until light with wooden spoon or mixer at medium speed.
5.Stir in oats and flour mixtures and mix well.
6.Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
7.Bake 10 to 12 minutes; cool and enjoy.A truly delicious oatmeal cookie.
