Peanut Butter Oatmeal Bars
|Chunky peanut butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar replacement||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Reduced-calorie margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Liquid fructose||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Quick-cooking oatmeal||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Oat bran||1 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked|
|Nonfat dry milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine peanut butter, sugar replacement, and margarine in a mixing bowl.
Beat to blend thoroughly.
Beat in liquid fructose, egg, and vanilla extract.
Stir in oatmeal, oat bran, and dry milk.
Turn batter into a greased 13 x 9 in. (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 to 35 minutes, or until top has browned and toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.
