Banana Oatmeal Cookies
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Butter/Margarine||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), softened|
|Mashed ripe bananas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Quick cooking oats||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate chips||6 Ounce (1 Cup)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
In a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients; beat in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add egg, bananas and oats; mix well.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.
Bake at 375° for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on wire racks.
