|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 Teaspoon|
|Quick cooking rolled oats||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Semi sweet chocolate pieces||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Coarsely chopped salted peanuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In large mixing bowl cream together sugars, butter, and shortening till fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Stir together flour and soda.
Add to creamed mixture with oats; mix thoroughly.
Stir in chocolate pieces and peanuts.
Drop from teaspoon, about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
