Regular Oatmeal

Ingredients
  Hot water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oats 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), uncooked (quick or old fashioned)
Directions

Place water and salt into a deep, 2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
Be sure to use a large container as oatmeal increases in volume substantially.
Heat, uncovered, on full power for 3 1/2 minutes or until boiling.
Add oats and cook on full power for 3 1/2 minutes.
Cover and let stand for a few minutes before serving.
