Apple Spiced Oatmeal

I used this Apple Spiced Oatmeal as bait for making my son have regular breakfast in the morning. The apple and spice inclusions have had a magical effect in turning an ordinary oatmeal breakfast into an irresistible meal. Just try this Apple Spiced Oatmeal on your family. Its sure going to work.
  Uncooked oatmeal 1 Ounce
  Apple 1⁄2 Medium, cored, peeled and sliced very thin
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Orange extract 1 Teaspoon
  Imitation margarine 1 Tablespoon (Diet Variety)
  Skim milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

Be sure to weigh the cereal before it is cooked.
Cook cereal according to package directions, but add the sliced apple.
Stir cinnamon and nutmeg, extract and margarine into cooked cereal, mix well and serve hot with skim milk and brown sugar replacement, if desired.
