|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|

|Nuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Vanilla||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
"Sift baking powder, flour and salt.
Cream butter thoroughly in large mixing bowl; add sugars gradually.
Cream until light and fluffy; stir in egg, nuts, milk and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients gradually.
Shape into rolls, 11/2 inches in diameter; roll in waxed paper.
Chill overnight or until firm enough to slice.
Cut into 1/8-inch thick slices.
Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
