Figs With Pistachio Cream

Ingredients
  Cream cheese 4 1⁄2 Teaspoon, whipped (1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons)
  Pistachio nuts 1⁄4 Ounce, shelled, ground
  Fresh figs 2 Large
Directions

MAKING
1. Starting at stem-end cut each fig lengthwise into quarters, being careful not to cut through base of fig.
2. In a mixing bowl combine together the cheese and nuts; stir to blend well and keep aside.

SERVING
3. Gently open the fig quarters and arrange on a serving plate.
4. Spoon half of the cheese-nut mixture into center of each fig and serve.
