Figs with Pistachio Cream
|Cream cheese||4 1⁄2 Teaspoon, whipped (1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons)|
|Pistachio nuts||1⁄4 Ounce, shelled, ground|
|Fresh figs||2 Large|
1. Starting at stem-end cut each fig lengthwise into quarters, being careful not to cut through base of fig.
2. In a mixing bowl combine together the cheese and nuts; stir to blend well and keep aside.
3. Gently open the fig quarters and arrange on a serving plate.
4. Spoon half of the cheese-nut mixture into center of each fig and serve.
