Sugar Nut Strips

Ingredients
  Unsalted butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Eggs 1 Small
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs), sifted
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Egg yolk 1
  Water 1 Teaspoon
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finley ground
Directions

MAKING
1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar till fluffy, beat egg into it as well
2. In a dry bowl, sift flour and salt together and mix into the creamed mixture to make a smooth dough; chill for half an hour
3. Roll the dough out on a flour dusted surface to the thickness of an eighth of an inch; trim the edges off and place it, uncut, on a cookie sheet
4. In a bowl, beat egg yolk and water together and brush the dough with it; sprinkle with nuts and bake at 350°F for fifteen minutes

SERVING
5. Before it cools completely, cut into strips 1"X2" and serve when completely cool
