Chocolate Chip And Nut Cookies

Ingredients
  Plain flour 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
  Soda bicarbonate 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 4 Ounce, softened (100 Gram)
  Granulated sugar 3 Ounce (75 Gram)
  Brown sugar 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Vanilla essence 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Chocolate dots 6 Ounce (15 Gram)
  Walnuts 2 Ounce, chopped (50 Gram)
Directions

Sift together the flour, bicarbonate of soda and salt.
Cream the butter and sugars together until fluffy, then fold in the flour mixture.
Add the vanilla and egg and beat until well mixed.
If the mixture seems dry, add a little water.
Fold in the chocolate dots and nuts.
Drop well rounded small spoonsful of the mixture onto greased baking sheets, spacing them to allow for spreading.
Bake in a preheated moderately hot oven, 190°C (375°F), Gas Mark 5, for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack.
