|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Peppermint extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Pecan halves||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
Combine sugar, water, salt, and corn syrup in a large mixing bowl.
Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave at HIGH 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture reaches a soft ball (235Â°).
Stir until they are dissolved.
Add peppermint; stir well.
Add pecans and stir with a circular motion until every nut is coated.
Mixture should harden slightly.
Drop each pecan onto a cookie sheet.
