Spiced Popcorn And Nuts

Ingredients
  Popping corn 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Sweet butter 2 Tablespoon
  Peanuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), salted or unsalted
  Pecans 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground cumin 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In a hot air popper or in a large pot with a tight-fitting lid, pop corn.
2. In a large saucepan, heat oil and butter. Add peanuts, pecans, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, white pepper and salt. Saute over medium heat 1 to 2 minutes, until aromatic and lightly-colored. Be careful not to burn.
3. Add popped corn and toss until well-coated with seasonings.
4. Store in tightly-covered container. Keeps 2 to 3 weeks.
