Brussels Sprouts With Brazil Nuts

Ingredients
  Brussels sprouts 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Butter 3 Ounce
  Brazil nuts 4 Ounce, shelled and chopped
  Fresh white breadcrumbs 3 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
Directions

Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut a cross in the base of each. Cook in boiling salted water for 10 to 15 minutes until tender. Drain.
Melt the butter in a pan, add the Brazil nuts and cook over a gentle heat until golden. Add the breadcrumbs and continue cooking until they have absorbed the butter and are crisp and golden. Add the Brussels sprouts and salt and pepper to taste. Heat through, stirring.
