|Dates||6 Ounce, stoned and chopped (175 Gram)|
|Sultanas||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Glace cherries||2 Ounce, chopped (50 Gram)|
|Walnuts||2 Ounce, chopped (50 Gram)|
|Rice krispies||2 Ounce (50 Gram)|
|Chocolate||4 Ounce, melted (100 Gram, Plain / Milk)|
Put the margarine, sugar, dates, sultanas and cherries in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring well.
Simmer until the dates are soft and tender.
Remove from the heat and fold in the walnuts and Rice Krispies.
Turn into a greased Swiss roll tin and spread out evenly.
Cool slightly, then cover with the melted chocolate.
Cool completely before cutting into pieces.
