Trout With Walnut Stuffing
|Finely chopped celery||2 Tablespoon|
|Sliced green onions||2 Tablespoon|
|Snipped fresh parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Herb seasoned croutons||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ready to serve chicken broth/Water||3 Tablespoon|
|Lemon pepper seasoning||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried marjoram leaves||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Whole trout||16 Ounce, heads removed (2 Pieces, 8 Ounce Each)|
In 1-quart casserole, combine margarine, celery, onions and parsley.
Microwave at High for 2 to 3 minutes, or until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Add remaining stuffing ingredients.
Fill each trout with half of stuffing.
Arrange trout in 10-inch square casserole with backbones toward outside of casserole.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at 70% (Medium High) for 9 to 14 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when fork is inserted at backbone in thickest part offish.
Let stand, covered, for 2 to 3 minutes.
