Carrots With Pistachio Nuts
|Carrots||2 Pound, peeled and thinly sliced|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon||1⁄2 , juiced|
|Shelled pistachio nuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grand marnier||3 Tablespoon|
Combine carrots with water and lemon juice in a large skillet.
Bring to a boil.
Cook 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Meanwhile, melt butter in a small skillet.
Add pistachio nuts.
Saute for 3 minutes.
Pour over cooked carrots along with Grand Marnier.
Saute, tossing gently for 5 minutes, or until carrots are glazed.
Season with salt and pepper.
