Little Sweet Bites
|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||5 Teaspoon|
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Cold water||2 Teaspoon|
|Pecans/Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
Cream the butter and sugar.
Add some of the flour and mix thoroughly.
Add water, and when mixture is smooth, add the rest of flour.
Finally add the nuts, mixing only enough for even distribution.
Chill the dough in the refrigerator for several hours.
Then remove and shape into balls, each about 1 teaspoon of dough.
Bake on a greased cookie sheet in a moderate oven (350° F.) for about 10 minutes.
Remove while still warm and roll in powdered sugar.
When cool, roll in sugar again.
Makes about 36 rich crisp cookies.
