Vegetarian Noodle

Vegetarian noodle is a popular dish made with boiled noodles and vegetables. Vegetarian noodle contains egg less noodles stir-fried with vegetables. As noodle is one of the staple foods on most of the Asian countries, all vegetarian noodle dishes are well-liked among pure vegetarians.

 

Preparation of Vegetarian Noodle

Noodles are boiled before adding to the dish. Boiled noodles are kept aside until vegetables are stir fried. Capsicum, onion, carrot, beans, zucchini, tomatoes, cabbage, spring onion and spinach are some of the vegetables that constitute any vegetables noodle dish. All these vegetables are sliced or shredded according to the need. In a pan, vegetables are stir-fried and kept remained crunchy. Salt, pepper, Soya sauce, vinegar and chili sauce are added to the vegetables along with the boiled noodles. Noodles are stir-fried for few minutes until sauces and vegetables are properly mixed with noodles. Vegetarian noodle can be either served alone or teamed with vegetarian Manchurian for a complete meal.

All Asian countries have their own style and method of making vegetarian noodle. Some dishes are spicy while some are having subtle and bland flavor. In spite of variations, vegetarian noodle is a well-liked dish in all parts of world. Hakka vegetarian noodles, chili-garlic noodles, Singapore noodles and schwezan noodles are some of the popular vegetarian noodle dishes.
