Orange Noodle Dessert

Ingredients
  Wide egg noodles 1 Pound
  Navel oranges 6
  Lightly packed brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Eggs 5
  Lemon juice 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Coarsely chopped walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dark seedless raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), plumped
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
Directions

Cook noodles in boiling salted water as directed on package; drain .Meanwhile, grate enough peel from the oranges to make 1 tablespoon and set aside.
Peel oranges and section them.
Toss sections with brown sugar and set mixture aside.
Put eggs, grated peel, sugar, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, and lemon juice into a large bowl; beat well.
Mix in noodles, walnuts, and raisins.
Turn one half of the mixture evenly into a well-greased 3-quart shallow baking dish.
Spoon orange sections over first layer.
Top with remaining noodle mixture.
Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.
Pour melted butter evenly over all.
Bake at 350°F 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool.
Cut into squares and serve with whipped dessert topping.
