No Noodle Lasagna
|Ground beef||1 Pound (500 Gram)|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Canned tomato paste||5 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Water||250 Milliliter (1 Cup)|
|Soda crackers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 Package)|
|Shredded gouda cheese/Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Creamed cottage cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Stir in onion; cook until transparent.
Blend in seasonings, tomato paste and water.
Line a well greased baking dish with soda crackers.
Cover with half the meat mixture.
Reserve 2 tablespoons (30 mL) shredded cheese; sprinkle remainder over meat.
Spoon half the cottage cheese over shredded cheese.
Reserve 2 soda crackers; place rest of the crackers side by side over cottage cheese.
Spread with remaining cottage cheese and then meat mixture.
Crush 2 soda crackers, mix with reserved shredded cheese.
Sprinkle on top to garfish lasagna.
Bake at 350F (180C) for 30 minutes.
