Noodle Ring With Meat Sauce

  Oil 2 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Ground beef 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Tomato puree 1 Tablespoon
  Cooking apple 1 , peeled cored and chopped
  Sugar 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned peeled tomatoes 8 Ounce
  Noodles 12 Ounce
  Chopped parsley 1 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Heat oil in pan.
Add onion and garlic; cook until onion begins to brown.
Add meat; stir over medium heat 5 minutes.
Add tomato puree, apple, salt, pepper, sugar, basil, and tomatoes; cover.
Simmer about 40 minutes.
While sauce is cooking, cook noodles in boiling salted water; drain.
Pack into well-greased ring mold; keep hot.
When ready to serve, turn noodle ring onto hot dish; pile sauce in middle.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
