Cheese And Noodle Bake
|Medium noodles||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Minced onion||3 Tablespoon|
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom stems and pieces||4 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Small curd cottage cheese||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Shredded american cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Cook noodles as directed in chart .
Drain in colander and set aside.
Place butter and onions in same casserole dish.
Cover and microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until tender.
Stir in flour, mustard, salt and pepper until smooth.
Stir in milk plus mushroom liquid.
Microwave 3 minutes 30 seconds to 4 minutes 30 seconds or until thickened.
Stir every minute.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and microwave 6 to 8 minutes, stirring once during cooking.
Stir, cover and let stand 3 minutes.
