Beef Round Over Noodles
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Sliced onions||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Beef round||1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 inch pieces|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Garlic salt||1 Teaspoon|
|Mushrooms||1 Can (10 oz)|
Heat shortening in large skillet with 1 teaspoon soy sauce, sugar, and 1 teaspoon sherry.
Saute onions in this.
Mix cornstarch, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and 1 teaspoon sherry in a bowl.
Dredge meat in this mixture, coating every piece.
Put dredged meat in onion mixture; brown it.
Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic salt.
Cover skillet; let simmer for 1 hour.
This meat draws its own gravy, but you may want to stir occasionally while it cooks.
Serve on a bed of noodles and enjoy.
