Chili Bean Noodle Casserole
|Narrow noodles||1 Pound|
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Canned chili beans||15 Ounce (1 Large Can)|
|Mixed herbs||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Minced dried onions||4 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Canned stewed tomatoes||14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Medium Can)|
|Burgundy wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped olives||4 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Small Can)|
|Cheddar cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), grated (Mild Or Medium)|
Cook noodles according to directions on pkg.
While noodles are cooking, brown beef in a little oil and add the next 9 ingredients.
Simmer about 1/2 hour.
Put meat mixture into noodles and pour into a greased 2 qt. casserole dish.
Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
Garnish as desired.
Excellent when served with toasted garlic bread, tossed lettuce salad, carrot & celery sticks, a light dessert and coffee.
