|Canned tomato sauce||16 Ounce|
|Sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce|
|Egg noodles||8 Ounce|
|Grated cheddar cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Melt shortening; fry hamburger until brown.
Chop garlic fine and mix with salt, pepper, sugar and tomato sauce.
Add to meat; cover and cook slowly 15 to 20 minutes.
In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese and chopped scallions.
Cook noodles according to directions; drain.
In a 2-quart baking dish, place a layer of noodles.
Spread with cream mixture and then meat sauce.
Repeat until dish is full.
Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
Bake for 20 minutes in preheated 350-degree oven.
