|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|Parsley leaves||2 Cup (32 tbs), pressed down|
|Basil leaf||1 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Pignoli nuts||2 Tablespoon (Pine Nuts)|
|Olive oil/Vegetable oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated|
1) In a pot of boiling water, cook the noodles as per its packet instructions. Drain and transfer the noodles onto a hot platter.
2) Meanwhile, into the electric blender, add butter or margarine, parsley, basil, salt, pepper, garlic, nuts, oil and cheese. Blend on HIGH to make a smooth sauce.
3) Pour the pine nuts sauce over the warm oodles.
4) Toss slightly to mix.
5) Serve the Genoese Noodles hot, with a sprinkling of toasted pine nuts on top, if desired.
