Noodles With A Crunch
|Water||2 1⁄2 Quart (boiling)|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon (optional)|
|Almonds||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), slivered|
|Fresh parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Poppy seeds||1 Tablespoon|
1) In a large saucepan boil water. Add spaghetti, cooking oil and salt and cook for 11 to 13 minutes.
2) Drain out from water.
3) In a large pot or frying pan heat first amount of butter and sautÃ© almonds until brown.
4) Stir in remaining butter, parsley and poppy seeds.
5) Mix spaghetti and toss.
6) Serve immediately.
