Spinach Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
  Medium egg noodles/Broad egg noodles 12 Ounce
  Boiling water 3 Quart
  Cooking oil 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Lean ground beef 2 Pound
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Tomato sauce 7 1⁄2 Ounce
  Tomato paste 5 1⁄2 Ounce
  Eggs 2
  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cottage cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Frozen chopped spinach 10 Ounce, thawed
  Nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Grated medium cheddar cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven hot to 350°F (180°C).

MAKING
2) In a Dutch oven boil water. Add noodles, first amounts of cooking oil and salt and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until just tender.
3) Drain noodles from water.
4) Transfer the noodles back to the pot.
5) In a separate pan heat second amount of cooking oil. Scramble-fry ground beef and onion until brown.
6) Stir in second amount of salt and pepper.
7) Mix tomato sauce, tomato paste, eggs, milk, cottage cheese, spinach and nutmeg into pasta.
8) Add the meat mixture and stir to mix.
9) Transfer into 3 quart (3.5 L) casserole.
10) Sprinkle cheese over it.
11) Bake for 20 minutes.
12) Uncover and bake for about 10 minutes.

SERVING
13) Serve hot.
